Mama's Shiner

I've been telling everybody that Mama is an example of what I can do when I get mad. Anybody who knows me knows I would never do anything to hurt my mother. She has loved me and done so much for me in my life. I think anyone who abuses their mom or doesn't respect her should be shot. But I've been having fun with her "shiner". Truth be told, she called me around 5am the other morning and told me she had fallen out of bed. She said her elbow was bleeding and she had a lump on her head. When I got there, she had torn the skin off her elbow and the lump was the size of an egg. I dressed her elbow and put ice on her head. The swelling went down and it didn't look bad at all, but each day it looks worse. Here she is the next day:

OH NO!! Poor your Mama! I wanted to reach in the picture and hug her.. :(

Yeah you are right, if I know someone who was hitting any old folks, I'm going to give them taste of their medicine! We should respect our elders because they have earned that respect..

Hope that shiner goes away soon and bring her beauty back once again :)

Love ya! M-

My mom had a shiner like that a couple of years ago. She fell and hit her face on a chair. You look like your mother....she is very pretty even with a black eye.

About Me

I am now an RN. I love taking pictures, especially of my grandchildren. I love taking care of people and wish there was more time to do it. Management puts so much paperwork and picky stuff on us we really don't have time to do the job we are destined to do.
